The TT model track system is the "little brother" of the H0 model track, a quality consistent reproduction in 1:120 scale. With the 2 mm nickel silver profile it allows combination with standard track that has been laid on many systems. A simple transition piece is used to accomplish this. Sleeper bands can be moved (except on crossovers or double cross-over points) and the rail bands are inserted rather than moulded. This means that sets of points can be modified by expanding or contracting and branch angles can be modified. This construction also enables almost all elements to be supplied in kit format, in order to provide an excellent track system to model enthusiasts with an eye on their wallet. The points tongues of the long 15º points are not affected by turning joints, true to real life, they are depicted as continuous flexible tongues. The grid unit for straight rails is 166 mm (1 length unit). Four different radii are available, in 30º and 15º parts. Flex track (664 mm) fulfils the requirements for custom track systems and can be obtained in wood and concrete sleeper reproductions. Please lay these tracks on a cork or rubber bed and add ballast yourself. Our N basalt ballast is particularly well suited.
