Experience the joy of flying in an adrenaline fuelled 60 minute flying lesson. An instructor will give you a briefing and introduce the controls and layout of the cockpit. From there it will be time to fly. You will learn about the principles of flying and if confident enough take the controls and feel what it is like to pilot an aircraft. If you are over 16 stone or 6ft 4 inches tall you will need to state this to the receptionist prior to booking and you may need to pay a surcharge on the day to be upgraded to a larger aircraft. All lessons are subject to weather conditions on the day and clients should phone on the morning of their lesson to check. Family and friends are welcome to come along and use the clubhouse for food and drinks. You must become a member free of charge on the day to be covered by insurance. Minimum age is 12. Anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to be with them on the day. All dates are subject to availability.
Take to the skies at the controls of a Cessna 152 two-seater aircraft on a 30 minute flying lesson. Following a safety briefing, you'll accompany your CAA licensed pilot instructor to the cockpit of the dual controlled 140hp Cessna aircraft and take the captain's seat. Once familiar with the controls and instruments of the plane, chocks are removed, your instructor will taxi and take off and your 30 minute flying lesson begins. At this point, the pilot hands control of the plane over to you. Subject to clearance by air traffic control, it may even be possible to take a detour during your flying lesson and fly over your home! Your flying lesson can also count towards a Private Pilot's licence if you wish. The instructor will land the aircraft and taxi back in for chocks-on. And don't forget to take a camera up with you on your flying lesson - the views are fantastic at 2000 feet!

You will be flying a two seater Piper Tomahawk under the close supervision of a highly qualified instructor. Whether this is the start of something new or a once-in-a-lifetime experience it is sure to be an adventure you will never forget.
Upon arrival at the aerodrome youll be given a briefing on the principles of light aircraft flying. From there youll be taken to the aeroplane for a general familiarisation of the cockpit layout and a rundown of the controls. After this its up up and away for a 60 minute flight of a lifetime! If the instructor feels confident that their new student is ready youll even be able to take the controls and get the thrill of piloting the aircraft.
