On arrival you will have a short briefing by an experienced professional flying instructor. Then its time for the aircraft you will be sat in the driving seat and the instructor will do some pre flight checks and taxi the plane to the runway for take off. Once airborne you will be taught basic manoeuvres and controls to take control of the plane. The aircraft is fitted with dual control so the instructor can assist whenever necessary. You will be flying a 2 seater Piper Tomahawk. Family and friends are welcome to come along and watch you fly and take some pictures. The experience will last for approximately 60 minutes.

You will be flying a two seater Piper Tomahawk under the close supervision of a highly qualified instructor. Whether this is the start of something new or a once-in-a-lifetime experience it is sure to be an adventure you will never forget.
Upon arrival at the aerodrome youll be given a briefing on the principles of light aircraft flying. From there youll be taken to the aeroplane for a general familiarisation of the cockpit layout and a rundown of the controls. After this its up up and away for a 60 minute flight of a lifetime! If the instructor feels confident that their new student is ready youll even be able to take the controls and get the thrill of piloting the aircraft. Take to the skies at the controls of a Cessna 152 two-seater aircraft on a 30 minute flying lesson. Following a safety briefing, you'll accompany your CAA licensed pilot instructor to the cockpit of the dual controlled 140hp Cessna aircraft and take the captain's seat. Once familiar with the controls and instruments of the plane, chocks are removed, your instructor will taxi and take off and your 30 minute flying lesson begins. At this point, the pilot hands control of the plane over to you. Subject to clearance by air traffic control, it may even be possible to take a detour during your flying lesson and fly over your home! Your flying lesson can also count towards a Private Pilot's licence if you wish. The instructor will land the aircraft and taxi back in for chocks-on. And don't forget to take a camera up with you on your flying lesson - the views are fantastic at 2000 feet!
